82 year old female patient, who had a Sacral Fracture and the result was urinary retention of which she was seeking relief with acupuncture.

I saw her for 4 visits. She had to use catheterization 4 times (3 times during the day and once at night) when she became my patient. After the first visit, she had eliminated her night time cath. After the 2nd visit, she was down to 2 caths during the day, after the 3rd visit she was doing 1 cath per day and was happy with that level. Upon followup after she was released I was informed that after 2 months she was fully urinating on her own.
