Swedish Massage by Jacqueline Sturbaum
The main purpose of Swedish massage is to increase the oxygen flow in the blood and release toxins from the muscles and interstitial tissue. Swedish massage shortens recovery time from muscular strain by flushing the tissues of lactic acid, uric acid, and other metabolic wastes. It increases circulation without increasing heart load. It stretches the ligaments and tendons keeping them supple and pliable. Swedish massage also stimulates the skin and nervous system and soothes the nerves themselves at the same time. It reduces stress, both emotional and physical, and is suggested in a regular program for stress management. It also has many specific medical uses. Swedish massage techniques include: long gliding strokes, kneading, friction, tapping, percussion, vibration, effleurage, stretching/bending and shaking motions. Swedish massage is relaxing and invigorating. It affects the nerves, muscles, glands, and circulation, while promoting health and well being. Swedish Massage is performed unclothed or partially clothed (commonly only the underpants are worn) and the client is draped with sheet and/or blanket, with the area being worked on undraped.

Cranial Sacral Therapy by Jacqueline Sturbaum
Cranial Sacral Therapy is an extremely light and subtle technique that helps the body unravel. The matrix that winds throughout the body can tighten over time, from falls or almost falling, injuries, or stress and distrupt / hold the musculature and structure. Cranial Sacral Therapy is very therapeutic and is something that can be done in a series to allow the body to unwind fully.
Reiki Energy Therapy by Jacqueline Sturbaum or Pat Ahner
Reiki Energy Therapy utilizes healing life force energy accessed by an attuned Reiki practitioner. There are several levels of Reiki attunements (Reiki I, 2, 3 and Master/Teacher). Reiki is often utilized by Nurse Practitioners in the hospital setting and by private practioners. Reiki opens the body up to allow healing. It can assist the body on many levels such as energetically, emotionally and physically. Generally, Reiki is performed on or above the body in the energetic field. It is a very soothing therapy and patients often fall asleep. It is performed fully clothed.

TuiNa, is a form of Chinese manipulative therapy often used in conjunction with acupuncture, moxibustion, fire cupping, Chinese herbalism, tai chi, and qigong. TuiNa is a hands-on body treatment that uses Chinese principles to bring the body to balance. The principles being balanced are the eight principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The practitioner can then use range of motion, traction, massage, with the stimulation of acupressure points and to treat both acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, as well as many non-musculoskeletal conditions.
